Event-triggered Control of Infinite-dimensional Systems

چکیده
We consider the event-triggered control of continuous-time linear infinite-dimensional systems. We show that an event trigger that measures the difference of a control input leads to the positive minimum inter-event time if a feedback operator is compact. Moreover, under certain natural assumptions on the infinite-dimensional system, we show that there exists an event trigger such that the closed-loop system is exponentially stable.

Analysis of Applying Event-triggered Strategy on the Model Predictive Control
In this paper, the event-triggered strategy in the case of finite-horizon model predictive control (MPC) is studied and its advantages over the input to state stability (ISS) Lyapunov based triggering rule is discussed. In the MPC triggering rule, all the state trajectories in the receding horizon are considered to obtain the triggering rule. Clearly, the finite horizon MPC is sub-optimal with ...
متن کاملEvent-based control of linear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws
In this article, we introduce event-based boundary controls for 1-dimensional linear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws. Inspired by event-triggered controls developed for finite-dimensional systems, an extension to the infinite dimensional case by means of Lyapunov techniques, is studied. The main contribution of the paper lies in the definition of two event-triggering conditions, by whic...
متن کاملEvent-Triggered H∞ Control: A Switching Approach
Event-triggered approach to networked control systems is used to reduce the workload of the communication network. For the static output-feedback continuous event-trigger may generate an infinite number of sampling instants in finite time (Zeno phenomenon) what makes it inapplicable to the real-world systems. Periodic event-trigger avoids this behavior but does not use all the available informa...
متن کاملTrade-Offs in Stochastic Event-Triggered Control
This paper studies the optimal output-feedback control of a linear time-invariant system where a stochastic event-based scheduler triggers the communication between the sensor and the controller. The primary goal of the use of this type of scheduling strategy is to provide significant reductions in the usage of the sensor-to-controller communication and, in turn, improve energy expenditure in t...
متن کاملSolving infinite horizon optimal control problems of nonlinear interconnected large-scale dynamic systems via a Haar wavelet collocation scheme
We consider an approximation scheme using Haar wavelets for solving a class of infinite horizon optimal control problems (OCP's) of nonlinear interconnected large-scale dynamic systems. A computational method based on Haar wavelets in the time-domain is proposed for solving the optimal control problem. Haar wavelets integral operational matrix and direct collocation method are utilized to find ...
